The Confined Space refresher course is designed to refresh and renew the skills of participants who have previously completed a confined space course. Refreshing of skills allows participants to reflect their current work practices to ensure they are keeping themselves safe in the workplace. For a Statement of Attainment to be issued as part of refresher training, a copy of the participant's original Statement of Attainment must be provided.

Duration: 1 day

 This one-day course focuses on practical, hands-on learning to refresh your confined space competencies.

• Identifying confined spaces and potential hazards 
• Conducting risk assessments and understanding hazard controls 
• Confined space work permits and entry procedures 
• Safety procedures and protocols 
• Atmospheric monitoring and gas detection 
• Practical entry into a confined space

Certification for confined space training does not come with an expiration date. However, it is recommended that re-training or refresher training be provided every two years, especially considering the frequency of work related to confined spaces. 

Course Requirements

• Photo ID
• Enclosed footwear, high-visibility vest, hard hat, (Optional: long pants and it may be beneficial to have gloves)
