RIIHAN309F – Conduct telescopic materials handler operations
This course will give you the skills and knowledge to operate a telescopic handler or ‘telehandler’ and its attachments in a range of heavy lifting machine operator jobs. Telehandler operators use this versatile machinery for lifting and carrying materials in a range of industries including construction & infrastructure, mining/resources, transport & logistics and agriculture.

Please note: This course does not issue a gold card. There is no licence associated with this course. A High Risk Work (HRW) licence for a non-slewing mobile crane operation (CN) is required for this plant when used as a crane where the capacity exceeds 3 tonne and when fitted with a boom or jib and hook block
Where the plant is fitted with a personnel box attached directly to the main boom and the personnel box can be extended 11 metres or more, the operator requires an elevated work platform (WP) certificate.
